SEEKING ACTIVE LICENSED REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS TO APPLY BY MAY 5, 2017
Looking to take your Real Estate Appraiser career to the next level? Then a position at the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA) might be just for you. With your active California Real Estate Appraiser’s license, you can help safeguard the public trust by becoming a Property Appraiser/Investigator as a public servant with the State.
As an employee of the State of California you receive monthly paychecks, a flexible telework schedule (if desired), a pension through CalPERS, as well as the support from the friendly and knowledgeable BREA staff. In addition, all your Continuing Education and license fees are paid for and you will be using your appraisal skills and knowledge to do investigations rather than appraisals. Convenient, monthly parking is available on-site; free parking will be coming soon. As a State employee, you can also purchase discounted Regional Transit, eTran, Folsom Stage Line, and Yolobus passes.
Currently, BREA’s downtown Sacramento location services the entire State of California. This great location is within walking distance to the State Capitol as well as a variety of nearby eateries, public transit options, and is close to all major Sacramento area freeways.
